Meet the Committee
President - Sebastian Lacatusu - 3rd Year BSc Cybersecurity & Digital Forensics
I got into cyber because my best friend overwrote my Windows 7 installation with kali linux and i was stuck with it for a month.
I stayed in cyber thanks to YTCracker, Dual Core and Yung Innanet, as well as the defcon media archive and Cheat Engine.
I want the society to become a place where people make friends and collaborators for life, without having to rely on luck for finding peers.
Vice President - James Feighan - 2nd Year BSc Cybersecurity & Digital Forensics
The very first thing that got me interested in Cybersecurity, was a recorded presentation from Wild West Hackin' Fest where David Ollam talks about how he and his team get paid to do physical penetration tests on client sites. Eventually I pivoted to Cybersecurity, though I'm still very interested in physical pen tests and put the skills I learned to use whenever I can, much to the annoyance of my housemates.

Treasurer - Patrycja Stefaniak - 3rd Year BSc Cybersecurity & Digital Forensics
My journey with UWE began after I decided to follow a teacher’s guidance of applying to this university. However, the decision to study cyber security and digital forensics was derived from my curiosity in the forever-changing cyber landscape. I hope that the CTF Falcons can become a platform for people to satisfy these curiosities, as well as help people develop skills and gain industry connections in order to aid them in the future.

Diversity, Inclusion and Equality Officer - Lucja Mendygral - 3rd Year BSc Cybersecurity & Digital Forensics
Hi my name is Lucia and I'm the inclusion/diversity officer. I am a third year student studying cybersecurity and digital forensics, and I hope to go down the digital forensics route. I am currently the president of cyberwomen@UWE and aspire to influence minorities to get into the cyber career path.
Society Secretary - Ollie Harris - 1st Year BSc Cybersecurity & Digital Forensics
I’ve always liked figuring out how things worked, and as I got older and became more interested in computers and software, I wanted to figure out how to break them as well. Cyber Security and Digital Forensics gives me that opportunity, and being part of the Falcons allows me to extend that knowledge and expand my learning capabilities.

Media and Publicity Officer - George Jackson Sánchez - 3rd Year BSc Cybersecurity & Digital Forensics
I've had a passion for Cyber Security ever since my dad warned me about stranger danger when signing up to Club Penguin
back in 2009. I fell in love with digital forensics after finding out about the tools and techniques that law enforcement uses to
catch criminals. I'm confident that CTF Falcons society will enrich my knowledge, help me make strong connections, and be a
force for good.

Communications Officer - Casper Wright - 3rd Year BSc Cybersecurity & Digital Forensics
What got me into cyber security was NCIS, the scenes of Abby and Donald typing on the same keyboard to repel a cyber attack faster was funny and that's why I chose cyber over comp sci. So far the two man keyboard is my favourite IR process when responding to cyber attacks and should see more use outside fiction.

Events and Fundraising Officer - Deyonte Satar - 3rd Year BSc Architecture
Before I joined the CTF Falcons I had only read about Cyber Security incidents in articles and didn't know much about how
any of it worked. But during the Fresher's Fair I met the VP of the Falcons James who introduced me Cyber Security on a more
practical level. So far I have thoroughly enjoyed learning about Cyber Security and being a member of the Falcons, so much so
I'm now the "token architect" and the guy in charge of planning the fun social events we run.

Fresher's Experience Officer - Maegan Roberts - 1st Year BSc Cybersecurity & Digital Forensics
I've always been interested in computers, and my career in web design only furthered this, encouraging me to want to learn more. Studying Cyber Security & Digital Forensics has given me the perfect opportunity to do so, and through the Falcons,
I look forward to honing my skills further and sharing my passion with others.

Dedicated to securing the
future.
